How Cooked's Remote Job Board Works
By Nwuba Joshua · Updated 8 November 2026
Most remote job boards are full of reposted, expired or vague listings. When I built Cooked's job board, I wanted the opposite: real roles, straight from the companies, sorted by where you can actually work.
Listings come straight from companies
Many tech companies publish their open roles through hiring platforms such as Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby, which offer public job feeds. Cooked reads those feeds directly from close to 100 companies, so every listing is a role the company itself has posted, with a link to apply on its own page.
Updated twice a day
The board refreshes every morning and evening (UTC). Roles the company has closed disappear on the next refresh, so you're not tailoring a CV for a job that's already gone.
Sorted by where you can work
Each listing's location is sorted into a region: work from anywhere, Europe and EMEA, Americas, Asia-Pacific or Africa. Filter by the region you live in to skip jobs that can't hire you. It's not perfect, because companies write locations in many different ways, so always check the full posting before applying.
From listing to tailored CV in one click
On Pro, every listing has a "Tailor my CV" button. Cooked loads the full job description from the company's feed and rewrites your CV for it, with an ATS score, a matching cover letter and a list of any skill gaps. You can also save jobs and get a short research brief on the company before you apply.
What's free
Anyone can browse the board and search job titles for free. Pro shows the company name and apply link for every role, adds full search, and unlocks one-click tailoring, saved jobs and company research.
