Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to the information you give Cooked ("we", "us") when you use www.cookeddev.lol.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address and name, from email sign-in or Google sign-in (handled by Google Firebase Authentication).
  • Your CV: the file you upload (stored in Firebase Storage) and the text and sections we extract from it.
  • Jobs and results: the job links or descriptions you add, and the tailored CVs, cover letters and scores we create.
  • Payments: handled by Whop. We receive a payment ID, the amount and what was bought; we never see your card details.
  • Usage data: how many CVs you tailor each day, to apply plan limits, and standard server logs kept by our hosting provider.
  • Free ATS checker: if you use it without an account, your CV and the job are sent to Gemini to calculate the score and are not saved by us. We keep only a daily count of checks, linked to a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, to enforce the free limit.

How we use it

Only to run Cooked: to tailor your CV, show your results, save your work, apply your plan and send account emails such as sign-in links. We don't sell or share your information with recruiters, employers or advertisers.

Who processes it

  • Google Firebase stores your account, CV and results.
  • Google Gemini API receives your CV and the job description to generate results, under the Gemini API terms, which set out how long data is kept and whether it may be used to improve Google's products.
  • Whop processes payments and subscriptions.

Cookies

We use only what's needed to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can delete your account, CV and all tailored versions at any time from Settings in your dashboard. For other requests, including under the GDPR, UK GDPR or Nigeria's NDPA, email fleetyre77@gmail.com.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date above.
